Football Dynasty Manager

It is obviously early in this game's lifespan but I cannot recommend this even if the game only costs 14$. The game is chalk full of AI slop and surface level features, not to mention some bad back-breaking bugs. For instance, moving from a 4-2-5 defense to a 4-3 defense will completely break the ratings of players that are forced to move to a different position because of the scheme change. For something as simple as changing the scheme of a defense, this is a flat-out unacceptable bug that immediately ruins the immersion of this game. Every feature in this game is also haphazardly placed with little thought of intelligent game design in it. It's like wading in a mile long lake thats half a foot deep. There are some positives, like the fact you can play as a high school coach which no other sim offers to my knowledge. I'm not some crank who will complain about the use of generative AI in sport sims but I would at least want it to be done correctly (I actually think gen AI is a net positive for sport sims. Deep, meaningful football sport sims are incredibly rare and if generative AI can help flesh them out I would be all for it). Sadly this game just doesn't do the simple basics correctly.

I was actually enjoying the game but twice now I have gotten corrupted save files , game wont save after jan 1. Wasted precious hours for nothing , wish I could refund oh well. I do not recommend,

The game logic and results look well done. The 2D animation logic and execution is the best I've seen. While players have so many attributes and skills that make them unique on their own. Looking forward to more enhancements as they come. BIG yes to this title.
