Fun game, worth the $4. Includes historical scenarios throughout the Fed's history and is a nice way to live through the history of the Fed in terms of the various crises and mechanisms at its disposal.

If you are someone who's interested in the financial system or the stock market in general, this game might be for you. The game offers a peek into the workings of the Federal Reserve and its strong influence on the US economy. As a player you will need to balance growth, inflation and unemployment by setting target interest rates, QE/QT and more. It is quite a simple simulator but it still manages to explain interesting concepts and teaches about historical events within the sector. With current interest rate uncertainties in the US, the game is highly relevant. Educational, interesting and perhaps thought-provoking; this game is worth the $4.

Such a fun and novel idea for a game. Great proof of concept and solid foundations, but currently lacking in scope/ depth. Two areas where I think improvements could be made are 1., the difficulty, and 2., an interference system. 1. The game is far too easy. Anyone with even a basic understanding of fiscal and monetary policy will learn the optimal path. Historical understanding helps too, but that is less modifiable obv. 2. There are dozens of factors influencing Fed decisions. Right now only inflation, unemployment, GDP growth and, at later dates, presidential interest influence decision-making. I think that this could be made more nuanced with a public confidence meter, corporate demands meter, and after 2020, a prediction market meter. I love the work you've done so far and am excited to see how the game expands from here. Keep up the fantastic work.
