    Paradox Interactive and their moderation team have shown complete disrespect towards history and their community. Banning players simply for using a profile picture of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk—the founder of modern Türkiye—and labeling him as a "controversial figure" based on false historical claims is unacceptable.What makes it worse is the clear double standard: historical figures from other nations are widely accepted without issue, yet Turkish players face censorship, unfair bans, and biased moderation.Until Paradox properly addresses this issue, fixes their double standards, and issues a proper apology to the community, I cannot recommend this game or support this company.

    I have been buying and playing Paradox games for years. The moderation incident surrounding the use of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s profile picture in the Hearts of Iron IV community, along with the historical justification used afterward, was deeply disappointing. The issue is not limited to a single Discord moderator. It also raises concerns about the moderation standards that allowed such a decision to happen in the first place, as well as the inadequate response that followed. As a company whose games are built around history, Paradox should be especially careful, consistent, and impartial when dealing with historical figures. Until Paradox addresses this incident clearly and satisfactorily, I will no longer support or purchase Paradox products.

    One of the Paradox community mods has just banned someone for having the Mustafa Kemal profile and the excuse given was him being a "controversial figure due to him having commited genocide" which has no historical basis at all. This is just an anti turkish move by a Paradox moderator and we won't stay silent to it as the Turkish people.

    On the official Paradox Discord server, community representatives explicitly harassed users with profile pictures of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, made defamatory claims against the founder of Türkiye, and banned players who objected to this conduct. It is deeply concerning that Paradox Interactive allows its official representatives to display open hostility and discrimination toward a dedicated portion of its global player base. Harassing users over historical figures and abusing moderator privileges is unacceptable. Until Paradox addresses this severe abuse of power and takes proper disciplinary action, I cannot recommend any of their titles.
