Shell of a King

Binding of Isaac Souls-like, basically. Feels very solid, like it was constructed with a clear vision in mind. Fun and cute and occasionally difficult, though much less so than is traditional in the genre. Definitely worth a shot if you like bullet hells and RPGs

Protip: You can level up at statues by interacting with the statue to open the menu and then swapping to the stats page. Despite tutorialising every other gameplay element, the game never tells you this.

Tbh I thought this would be a smaller game, I was surprised how much there is to it! I do find the controls a bit of a struggle but it might be a me thing, since I mainly play with controller. Still, Story and Gameplay was really fun! Might go back to get a better ending because uhmm.. let's just say I shouldn't have abandoned a friend :'D Definitely a hidden gem!
