WHITE ALBUM: Memories like Falling Snow

this vn single-handledly turned me into an EVIL, SELF-CENTERED AUTOMATED HUMAN BEING. ok, this one starts off all natural with the mc being some dude who (only god knows how he got her, but) has a gf who'd became a whole popstar.. or well idol- i don't know the difference. essentially, this game basically ENCOURAGES you to pick a different route aside from hers. no, like, they actually made the other options an much more interesting read than hers. i should specify, i'm speaking from a 3rd person POV; therefore, idgaf about their relationship, i'm evil. if it seems boring, i'm not reading it. this is a warning to non-evil individuals, don't read this if you aren't ready to make the heinous choice to go behind her back. if you're not just evil and you're a villain, there's a route just for you! you can go after your best friends love interest! what a game! fun for the whole family! getting into the core gameplay, this game is BORING until you get the route exclusive events. your first playthrough will be magical, like "ohmygod, they're blinking and moving for who knows why," but eventually you'll realize in your 2nd one that you're honestly just skipping to get the stuff you didn't. if you still want to play this after reading this, i recommend not being like me and exhausting all of their dialogs out of genuine curiosity. stick to one person i'd say. i know my hours speak numbers, but i'm a really slow reader. the game isn't exactly long, just a bit more tedious than your average choice-route sorta visual novel since its a relationship typa one. aside from gameplay, id say its decent overall. even if you were to remove the tedious nature of the game, it'd still be decent. the routes aren't exactly that long and since i was an IDIOT and did route exclusive content when going into another persons route, i had to sit through the same crap all over again to go into said persons route. then when you get put into a route, they're not really long so that bummed me out and that's why i'm taking a good, long break before reading this again to try and do myself better. i guess i'd recommend? idk, if you just want to be a evil person, you should read this.

if you're a big white album 2 or kiminozo fan i would say mana, rina and yayoi routes are worth reading. just skip sayoko straight up

Visual novels have come a long way. I really wanted to play TWA2, but since it’s not on Steam I played the first, knowing from reviews it was totally different and older in how it’s written and presented. I tried to hold on some interest in a few of the girls’ stories, but none were really that special. I disliked the main character/narrator. Just boring.
