Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus

Acquisition of media is justifiable and beneficial. Khepra: This game will substantially raise your morale. I do not like spending my credits, but this is a worthy sacrifice. Videx: This videogame encapsulates the righteousness of the Mechanicus in such brilliance that it might as well be considered sacred scripture. Lessons in Perfection, verse 84, "beautiful is that which witholds nothing in exalting the Omnissiah." Caprix: It would be folly not to buy this game. Prices on sales are overwhelmingly advantageous. Wait for a sale, but waste no time in buying once it arrives. Tiresus: I have made most fascinating discoveries about the different necron lifeforms that exist. Knowledge of them prior to this game was superficial. I now wish for more samples of lore. Faustinius: My emotional cores return amusement from the gameplay, and beauty from its soundtrack. I see no reason not to get it, and all the reason for liking it.

Fun little game is you like turn based strategy and Warhammer 40k, Also the fact this game was made by a studio of 12 people is impressive. Story wise i think its great and coherent, but it helps to have a good understanding of Mechanicus and the Necrons to begin with, in order to spot all the ways it was clever.

I'm a little over halfway through the campaign. I enjoy the game very much. I've played Warhammer 40K:Rogue Trader and this game fits the universal lore very well. It has some elements of XCOM with turn based, squad combat. I really like the unlocks that come with every mission. The game could use a few quality of life improvements but the longer I played the less they bothered me. I couldn't find a setting to speed up dialogue or combat. The default Q and E camera spin are opposite what I'm used to. I couldn't find a way to examine enemies or troops which makes it harder to keep track of which ones are burning or have acid or other status effects. A great addition to the Warhmmer 40K games.
