Turquoise

What a beautiful little indie! You slowly populate small ocean vignettes with life by adding rocks, coral, and plants to the environment. Aquatic animals show up and you can watch them swim around or read some basic info on them. Turquoise is a bit like an interactive screensaver- this is not a bad thing. It's absolutely soothing and very chill. The soft, but vibrantly colorful graphics have such a lovely style to them, it's like a mix of watercolor and chalk pastels. Quiet, peaceful music also plays in the background. I personally find it pretty mesmerizing, and have only "completed" one of the three biomes, so I'm looking forward to jumping back in soon. Building up the coral reef felt very satisfying, but it also made me a bit sad and introspective, considering their decline in real life. Pick this up if you love the ocean, enjoy decorating virtual spaces, and are looking for something short and sweet.

This game makes me so so so happy, just building a nice habitat and trying to make it look natural. The art style is beautiful and this game really captures what makes the ocean so beautiful. An "align to surface" option for objects would be a nice addition, to add decorations to rocks with strange angles! (Unless it's already there and I somehow missed it lol)

I really like this game! As someone who wants to pursue marine biology, this is really fun and right up my alley! It's nice that you're able to see what kind of fish you have and whether they're endangered or not. I do with that I would be able to have free range to rotate items however I want. In a certain build, I want to have starfish on the sides of pillars and rocks along it nautilus shells. It would also be cool if I could move my camera around like you would in the sims. I think this is a SUPER cute game and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to customize and build along with those who enjoy marine biology or any kind of ocean themed game! :D
