The Unlife of Gorlak

Excellent and very cute life sim JRPG about being an undead dragon. A single run is around an hour, and there are multiple endings and builds to try out. There's lots of lovely bespoke pixel art, and the music is excellent as well; I especially liked all the "escalation" tracks you get for progressing far enough in the expeditions. The dialogue is also very charming, and the expedition bosses at the ends of the first two areas were particularly funny. Great stuff! Really hope this game finds its audience because I would love to see more of these characters and this style. Only real criticisms I have are in terms of UI legibility and it's not a serious hamper to the game anyway so. I just wish shopping and looking at what skills/attributes do was a little easier.

Built on a great foundation of rebuilding your strength to face a former rival and executed in a way that has a ton of variety, great writing, and fantastic art. I love how many different ways you can approach encounters and I'm looking forward to digging in more and gosh maybe helping Gorlak hold someone's hand
