The Prince of Tennis Doki Doki Survival ~eternal passion! Tie break ♡ game~

Love love love. I've been a Tenipuri fan for over 15 years now and never got the chance to access this game, nor have I learned enough Japanese to experience it (+Gakupuri). I'm super happy this and Gakupuri are now localized and beautifully ported! I haven't even dug into more of the routes yet- they take me a while because I read the story even if it's repeated dialogue, but it's going to keep me very busy for the rest of the year. It's simple to understand, but not enough to give away everything about each guy. It's so refreshing to play a full and completed game! I love a lot of Tenipuri characters so I am very happy to spend time learning about them and experiencing the new redraws and lore tidbits. It's more than worth the price if you're like me and love too many characters from different schools, even some of the minor ones!

it only took konami 20 years to translate this and gakuensai, but it was so worth it. it was one of my first otomes, and remember being so obsessed with both games (even though I had to use a translator the entire time). as a huge tenipuri fan who also absolutely loves otomes: this is absolute peak. whether you love tenipuri, just love otome games and don't even know what tenipuri is all about, or are a yume/self/oc shipper: i so recommend this game. if you will only play it for 1-2 characters and don't plan on replaying after finishing their routes, then it may not be worth the full price (100€ for both is a bit pricier than I expected) and you should probably wait for a sale (same for gakuensai, each route lasts around 2 hours max, maybe 1 hour and a half if you don't re-read the repeated dialogues from common events), otherwise it's totally worth it. It has a route for each character, which makes it 40+ total to begin with and they're including so many characters from the series. It also includes 3P endings for 4 chosen pairs of characters, and endings for specific schools, which gives it a ton of replay value and a lot to read if you plan on 100% it. The new CGs are super pretty, and so much better than the old ones from the og games. I only finished Ryoma's, Kikumaru's and Tezuka's route (+ one 3P ending), and their new animated ending CGs are so beautiful! Bonus points for the translation being actually okay? They keep the character's quirks in, try to convey accents, keep their catchprases in, and there are only a few minor mistakes (such as some words missing, or them confusing a word for another, changing the meaning of some phrases but not overly so), but besides that, it's great! Way better than I expected, and it was really fun seeing all the 'meow' puns they did with Kikumaru. The only downside, is that it's a bit sad that the option to have the character speak your name is limited to the Japanese-text version of the game. It would've been fun to still have it for the translated versions as well, even if of course they wouldn't be able to say my name. It would've felt a bit nicer than the awkward silence they have sometimes. Still, it's a tenipuri game translated in the big 2026, it's an otome game, and they translated gakuensai as well. Honestly? I'm just happy to see and have more Echizen content, especially in the form of two of my all-time fave otomes. Best boy is best boy. Now I need to go 100% it and then replay Echizen's route 100 times in a row on repeat. Bye.

I was so excited for this game to come out because I never thought that it would ever be translated to English! This game definitely didn't disappoint! I loved the dialogue and the characters and the game play was super fun! Though I do wish there was more content for each characters because I really love Fuji and I wish I could have seen more content of him, and the game does feel a little pricy if you're only playing for one or two characters. but other than that it is really fun and I enjoyed it a lot!! I really wish this series had a bigger fandom because it is so cute and one of the best otome games that I have played in a while!
