'Graceful/Diligent/Learned' (Ally Affinity and Experience Bonuses) are all Non-Negotiable Traits. Do not skip them, you will be thankful later as the highest levels of power require extensive grinding you won't have the numerical time for otherwise. Tales of Justice Academy is a Wuxia Cultivation Simulator and it has surprisingly enjoyable side activities and likeable cast. Even having binged it for almost 30 hours, I'm already looking forward to my New Game (the game says it has a New Game +, but sadly it's just more traits unlocked that give you a better headstart) You will encounter the very occasional Chinese text, but otherwise it's a fairly intuitive translation that avoids most language pitfalls like puns that don't work elsewhere.

Overall, a very solid wuxia experience. Lately, I've been obsessed with this genre, and Tales of Justice Academy doesn't disappoint. The localization is pretty rough, but not so bad that I couldn't tell what was happening. The big draw to me, though, was the combat system. There's lots of fiddly bits and systems that interact smoothly with each other. I felt rewarded for experimenting and taking the time to comprehend the system. When I lost a battle, it felt like an actual skill issue on my part, and not the game being unfair or cruel. I hope that when/if the devs cook up something new, they keep the combat system. By far, that was my favorite part of this experience.
