Still Heroes

3/10 Цифровой комикс с крайне банальным сюжетом и посылом без каких либо выборов и вариативности, не особо приятной рисовкой и очень короткой продолжительностью. Единственным плюсом является хоть какая-то интерактивность и слабые намеки на режиссуру, дабы оправдать существование этого проекта в виде игры, а не комикса.

Очень короткий, но интересный комикс с прикольными твистами. Не стоит бояться отсутствия русификатора, текст очень простой.

A great story; it's a linear kinetic novel, but I didn't expect how much interaction I actually would have with the story. Those interactions were pretty cleverly implemented, and definitely a richer experience than just hitting spacebar page after page. From the clicking to the typing, you felt like you were living her life. In that respect, It did a good job driving home the monotony of Emeline's life at times. Interactions were pretty honest and occasionally brutal, which just served to lend more authenticity. I thought the first interaction at the bar with Myriam was rather forced, and they did need to work on building up their interactions a bit more, but it didn't spoil the story. Ending was a bit rushed, but I get the feeling they were going for. I would have liked it to be a bit more interactive there so I could pause and absorb everything that was actually going on in the vignettes, but that might have also been a poignant statement about how fast life goes sometimes when so many things are going on. I can see it as an effective vehicle to contrast with Emeline's life at the beginning. A lot of love and hand-drawn art was created for the game, and you can feel how much thought was put into animating and unfolding the story. In the current age of AI, that intent means a lot!
