PROJECTIONS

Been playing this game on and off since its release and listening to Wolfgun's music far before that. This is one of those games that hides behind a surface of simplicity, but slowly reveals more and more of itself the better you get at it. Once you start to get decent at it, it gets... hard. Like REAL hard. One of the more punishing games I've played, especially for a game where there's no loss state! I still don't understand a lot of the rules or circumstances of why certain things happen, but each time I pick up the game and play a round, I learn a TEENY bit more. There are no guides, no information, no help. You just have to try it for yourself! All I can say is... just get good at perfect dodging. Things happen when you do it right.

10 minutes in, I already have a headache... If you can't tell what this game is from the screenshots, I won't fault you. It's basically an abstract tps melee hack and slash with really finnicky camera controls. There is no sense of space and judging the distance and effect of your attacks is basically impossible due to the minimal visuals.

Heart-pounding good music and a flow-state-eque discharge of action keeps you going further and further in this surprisingly compact package. Clean, minimalist and unique, a nice game to pick up every now and then.
