Hollywood Mogul 4

The new update brings the game closer to its predecessors and HM4's major update is a much better improvement than what it was. It's still missing some features I liked from previous games, but the update has brought the game back to life. Pure nostalgia.

I've tried my very best to like this, I've waited for the new UI update and changes. But my patience has finally run out, the UI is far too archaic and cumbersome even with the updates. I am a lover of text based simulators but there's just not enough to the gameplay loop to hold my interest and allow me to look past the UI.

I remember wasting hours on the old games from this series, but I couldn’t really justify £16 for this new version. The UI was terrible, especially for the modern era, it looks like a relic of the times, and that was fine some 20 years ago, but it isn’t fine now. I think more work needs to be put into the UI and accessibility to take advantage of the underlying engine and mechanics, but I don’t see that happening, so I don’t recommend the game, sorry.
