Endless Dark

Interesting game with not bad replayability and interesting approach. My first playthrough of first story arc can be divided by two halfs. First one is "Well, this game is kinda easy, a few sys failures are not a problem!", and after a while it shifted into "Don't care, I'm NOT gonna repair that, I don't have enough sanity nor resources. Only if I can survive just a little longer..."

Been playing this a lot at a friends place, trading off backseating them and being the one playing it, really impressed by the game

A relentless test of character, weighing up odds that after a while, feel a lot less than they really are. They become numbers, resources. And then upon the rewind, at the end, you'll realise what it cost. This is a difficult game, it'll pull the rug from beneath you, only to take it easy on you for the final stretch, when you're at last prepared. And then, when it breaks everything, you'll look at the pressure gauge that's meant to help you out, unmoving at its halfway point, and you'll sigh. Then you'll make it through anyway. It's exhilarating. The writing and story are truly out there, and I wholeheartedly recommend this. ... alongside a little something else: Do NOT be afraid of playing on Easy. If you want to get the story, play on Easy. Trust me. Even on that difficulty, the game doesn't pull its punches. The higher difficulties are where it stops playing fair, which if that's your cup of tea, there's a couple of game modes to accommodate that!
