    Great game. The gameplay itself is a build on other souls-likes. There's bosses and themes from Dark Souls 1 all the way to Elden Ring's DLC. There's even some Sekiro touches with the "Executor" class. If you're a fan of any previous soul's game, this likely has something for you. The multiplayer element is enjoyable, although it can be frustrating whenever someone disconnects from the run. There's less of an overall story you experience, like in other games, but it still has its own contained story/goals. Even after you complete the game, there's tasks/progression that you can complete. Alternate forms of bosses, expanded selection for loadouts, many different aspects you can sink time into. They're not required, but they give something you can strive to complete.

    This game is basically just Elden Ring on a time table. Some people might be mixed about whether that makes it good or bad. I've attempted to try and play this by myself at times and really can't make it past night 1. But with two friends, this game is a roller coaster. The most fun I've had on a roguelike since Risk of Rain. Which is also probably it's biggest downside, without two other friends this game is kinda brutal. Moreso than the base game. Nearly identical to Elden Ring in many ways, but drastically different in others. So if you already are pretty familiar with the base game, this one will be a cakewalk.

    I like this game but it has a very big issue in my opinion, you spend more time on running and looking at the map then fighting actual bosses, you do that in Elden Ring too but that has a huge beautiful map which you want to explore and see. This map also looks great but it doesn't change much and you end up spending a lot of time running to the same places you have already gone to dozens of times. I do love fighting bosses in co-op and experimenting with different classes though.

  • Fun game, especially with friends. The combat is fast, the bosses are challenging, and every run feels a little different. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy Elden Ring and co-op.
