Arcadia Fallen II

Мне нравится. Видно что в новую часть вложили больше сил чем в прошлую игру и это чувствуется. История стала сложнее и многограннее, по ощущениям подача изменилась, но не могу сказать в худшую или лучшую сторону. Единственное что смущает — некая скомканность концовки. В сравнении с первой частью, здешнюю концовку будто делали в попыхах, но конец истории всё равно поставлен очень даже. Рекомендую всем, особенно фанатам прошлой игры.

i never buy a game upon launch (love me some discounts), but i remember really liking the previous game. shame the mc didnt get as many voiced lines this time, oh well. im off to sink 400 hours doing the exact same route now, ggs

I really wasn't expecting much when I purchased the first game of Arcadia Fallen, but I was blown away by how much I genuinely enjoyed it, and so OF COURSE I had to purchase the second one ^-^ Here are some of my favorite features of this game: - The voice acting! Not only is the whole cast just super engaging from their time on screen to the snippets of banter between missions, but I feel that the each brought to life the characters they were voicing. Actually, a VA from another series I adore voiced Puk ,and it's just super awesome to see them in another game I have come to view fondly. (They might not have been the originally voice for Chloe Price, but they did her character justice in both BTS & Reunion, and because of that they now hold my most ardent admiration XD) - The story! It's fun and engaging, and even if you didn't play the first installment, you still can follow what is happening. That being said, I do love that because I played the first game before playing this one, I had some behind the scenes and extra lore into the world that I might not have had otherwise. It is also super awesome that Ann made a cameo in this <3 - The minigames were actually a surprise plus for me. I sometimes have a hard time getting into puzzle minigames, but these were challenging in just the right way for me to consider them engaging and fun rather than being a nuisance. - The soundtrack <3 Just lovely. Now, selfishly, I will say that I do wish I had seen some more impactful story shaping choices, and maybe some more romance oriented scenes. Not only is it just a personal preference of mine when it comes to VNs, but also I feel like it would add to the replay value of the game. I always enjoy uncovering outcomes or scenes I haven't come across before. Overall this game was wonderful and I look forward to seeing the next installment of the series (if there is to be one which I really hope there is T.T) or whatever else the studio decides to pursue.
