Ламповая бегалка за лису. Меня затянуло) Лёгкая и ненавящевая, хоть и может поначалу показаться слегка затянутой. Однако бонусы за первые заклинания разгоняют игру и дальше время пролетает незаметно. Рекомендую)
It's exceedingly fine, a rock solid 4/10. I had some moments of fun when playing for sure, but when reviewing I don't think I can in good faith recommend. It hurts a little, as I was slooking forward to this project as a fan of the original flash games, but the gameplay is incredibly meandering, the game doesn't feel optimised for the type of title it is, and while traversal is decent, it doesn't really feel fun, especially for how much you'll be playing around in it's worldscape. If I were to offer advice for a possible sequel, I'd really hope for a more interactive world to make it feel like traversal is fun and something I need to engage with, I'd look for ways to cause some adversity to the player which isn't just occationally causing them to have to waste their time and halt things, and I'd have the landscape feel more alive with some proper stylisation to itself rather than the very drab if enjoyable look it has so far. I don't like giving negative reviews, but when something doesn't sit right, I feel I must say something in response. Hope everyone has a good day, and more power to those who enjoyed this more than I did.
Another calming collect-a-thon platformer from Lucas Paakh, the creator of the previous two. Making the jump to 3D and tripling the amount of mushrooms to collect in the process. Alongside mushroom hunting, there are cursed stone obelisks scattered around, and you have to collect "blue essences" from various plants and animals to destroy them, creating new plants and animals you can draw blue essence from with some hiding mushrooms and some giving movement abilities like super speed and infinite air jumps. The map is huge, but especially with super speed it doesn't take more than a few minutes to cross. There's also various plants around the map that will launch you, creating something like a fast travel network, but each plant only launches you in one specific direction so there can be some routes that take longer one way than the other. The game has tank controls, which took some getting used to. Movement can be clunky in places, particularly on steep mountain slopes, but none of that was enough to drag the game down. The one thing I did miss was the ability to manually adjust the camera. It automatically pans left and right as you hold A and D, which you can do without moving forward to look around you, and it does automatically pan up and down based on whether you're falling and the incline of the terrain in front of you, but there were plenty of times when I would have appreciated the ability to take control and look around more thoroughly, but again it wasn't enough to harm my experience very much. Managing your blue essence inventory and finding all the mushrooms was very enjoyable. Mushroom spores are visible from very far away making it easy to get to ~90% completion just by combing the map a few times. For those last few you missed, once you complete the main "story" by breaking all the pillars there's little fairy circles around the map you can stand in that will tell you where nearby mushrooms are. You do have to find the fairy circles first, but once you do they're marked on your map. The visual style is beautiful as always in its own stylistic way, and the soundtrack is once again stellar. If you enjoyed the first two or haven't played them but are looking for a simple, relaxing collect-a-thon, this is it.
