Trials of Innocence

Emotional and exciting adventure, that not afraid to ask morally difficult questions. I noticed, that in comparison to Phoenix Wright, Trials got more memorable characters, both in visual design and behavior (Bocchi Musician is my favourite). Despite that some of story twists are quite obvious, it always hyped me to understand HOW to assemble pieces on crime scenes and HOW to parry all arguments, Ending is something else, I've never seen something like it. I definitely recommend to play it, hidden gem.

Never played Ace attroney myself but I think this game recreates its' spirit well. The main appeal, in my opinion, is the story. Wouldn't call it original, didn't feel like it at least, but it was really and really engaging one. There was always something that made me wanting to know what happens next. Apparently I spent 40 hours in game, but it felt like 10. Strong recomend.

A really nice and cute clone of the Ace Attorney series, with usual caveats about the English translation of an indie game (a sentence or name untranslated here and there, some spaces between sentences missing, graphically misaligned phrases, etc). Otherwise, I haven't seen any game-breaking bugs. I hope that the game gets polished to perfection and receives a sequel. Or two. It doesn't seem that we will get a new AA game in the near future, so somebody has to fill the void! We don't have enough colorful and quirky detective visual novels with lawyers screaming "Objection!".
