Togainu no Chi: True Blood NITRO ARCHIVE

I didn't really like this one. I think the audience for this game was much more for the sexual content - and this edition of the game doesn't have that. I would not have wanted that anyway so I chose this edition on purpose, but the story doesn't really stand on its own in my opinion. The VO work was very good though! If you are a fan of the property, "Togainu no Chi: Lost Blood" (the original uncensored game) has all the gore and sexual content this all-ages version has removed, and that version is much better received.

I played this just to see Yukihito and have all achievements since I've been a fan for a long time but the censorship really ruins the game and makes no sense, Shiki bad ends could've been emails, I did find interesting how Akira was focusing more on fighting in two of the Shiki routes, and Yukihito is probably now my second favorite character, especially for the segment post Toshima. I still think if you never approached the series before this is a good game overall but you may wanna see the uncensored endings/full routes on youtube in case

So far, it's my personal favorite from Nitro Chiral since it nicely captures the same feeling I had when I played old Nitro Plus games, such as Kikokugai or Jouka no Monshou (well, it's not really Nitro Plus, but you get the point). Some routes feel a bit repetitive, but they never become as tiresome as they do in case of Dramatical Murder. Meanwhile, some other routes feel a bit too nukige-ish (Shiki, I'm looking at you), but it's nothing I couldn't live with. This edition is a port of the PS2 version, which included an exclusive route for a completely new character voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi, and... let's just say you won't miss anything if you don't read this route. Still, it's nice to have something new, right? I kind of miss the days when VNs would add new routes in rereleases. Anyway, good game.
