Seven Suns of Orion

I'm a huge rogue-like/survivor/horde junkie and "Seven Suns of Orion" not only has a cool freaking name, it's got great gameplay, graphics, unlocks and a ton of fun for just $5. What makes "Seven Suns" stand out is that the planets/asteroids generate their own gravity so if you happen to go by one of them, or an asteroid flies by, you will be drawn to it. This also affects your thrusters and movement. I personally found this to be nice change to the "just blast everything" formula. IMO, it's a fun mechanic and takes some practice to master the movement. What this leads into next is that there's a ton of ships and specialized pilots that open up each with a distinct look and more importantly, different stats for both the pilots and ships. You might get a big capital ship with tons of armor but it moves and handles like the whale it is. Or a "ufo" styled ship that can stop on a dime or fighter ship that is agile and has a great gun/weapon fire rate. There's a bunch of choices and synergies the player can mix and match with pilots and the ships. Oh and then there's some pretty cool boss fights that change up the pace. For just $5, I think you're getting a very quality game that will keep you busy for either that "just one more run" or a quick session. I recommend it!

Fantastic, fun, roguelite - even at such an early stage, it's fun and relaxing. The combos and builds are fun (looking forward to even more weapons in future updates!). The ships are cool (Battleship is epic!). And for the price, it's a really, really fun little game. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic game. Very addicting. It has that carrot on stick that keeps you wanting more. Very unique in it's game play. For those that aren't used to the type of momentum space flight this has, it may take a bit getting used too, but it is fun once you get the hang of it. Very much like arcades back in the day like Asteroids. The 7 minute time is such a breath of fresh air compared to the 20min runs on others. It feels just right and allows me to pick up and play without thinking about it or worrying if I have enough time for a run. The different ships make each level difficult in it's own way which really extends the play of the game. I hope dev continues with development of game even though I consider it complete as is. It would always be nice to see a couple of extra ships or enemies down the road. Highly recommended.
