Seashell

A sweet, cozy game about shell collecting which both teaches you about shells, and has a couple of puzzle-like attributes towards the end. I generally don't love puzzles, but I didn't mind figuring all of them out barring one, which thankfully has a Guide. The animation is really pretty, and I like the variations in the shells. The way to progress into getting the legendaries is interesting and thoughtfully done. It ran pretty smooth though I found tilting the shells a little frustrating to get a look at the iridescence, so stopped doing it (I think it was just the directionality, which was opposite to the way my brain works so it felt like trying to work something out in a mirror).

Absolutely delightful experience. I wasn't expecting much from it, but the gotta catch 'em all aspect and the light puzzle elements are such a genius combination here; rather than getting bored and exiting the game, I had my eyes peeled for certain kinds of shells, and I was determined not to quit until I got 100%. It was quite a peaceful hour and a half, and my only wish is that it was even longer! Definitely worth your time and money, especially if you need to decompress.
