Q REMASTERED

Too busy struggling with the lackluster drawing mechanics to actually have fun solving any puzzles. 90% of your time is spent drawing the same solution and having it work 1/10 times for no apparent reason. "Can be done heavily if drawn persistently at the same point." Is by far the most confusing hint I've ever encountered in a videogame. I was not able to actually determine whether holding the cursor at a point or drawing on the same spot multiple times actually added to the weight of an object or not. It's so bad, I'm not sure playing the same attempt twice in this game is even deterministic, how the *** am I supposed to find out how your basic mechanics work? I have no idea what the *** this was remastered from, but with controls that constantly get in your way, the really unapologetically ugly UI and the unpredictability of what your solution will actually do between runs I'm afraid to imagine what an original might've been like.

I first played this game at the Hyper Japan indie game booth, and it hooked me mmediately. It reminds me a lot of Zachtronics games, where the puzzles all seem impossible at first, but it's far more casual and very similar to the Flash games I used to play on Newgrounds and eBaum's World.

This game calls for a very special blend of psychology and extreme violence. Never have I been so satisfied and bamboozled, to and fro, in such a way as when playing this. I really love the range of levels available from the get go though, you get a taste of simple through to absolute hell with the ability to unlock more in any area of your choosing, rather than having the game be super linear which would leave you stuck and bored a lot faster. I like it. Buy it and feel very smart. And very stupid.
