PS Maker

This Game Engine is still fairly new, but it gets updates constantly and the creator takes suggestions on how to improve the Engine even more. It's very easy to get into and requires no coding. I've been having a lot of fun with this Engine and excited to see how this will grow and evolve.

As someone who isn't the best with coding or diving into new engines, this is probably the least resistant/most intuitive one I've come across. There's still a bit of a learning curve, of course, espeically if general game design is new to you, but the framework of PS Maker quickly puts a lot of those question marks into perspective. Very low entry barrier. Strongly recommend for anyone who wants to just drop some art in and write some dialogue. As others have mentioned, there are some features missing that are currently being developed (The dev is awesome and very proactive/responsive), but nothing that will stop you from being able to make something great. The only true restraint is your imagination.

I have been using DEMO mostly, but the full version is the same, as I see, and it's great (so far). Sure, it's a very "young" engine and it lacks the features it will surely have in the future, but it's a given. You shouldn't expect a Death Star on day 1. What you should expect is a human-friendly code-free RPG-Maker style story-driven game/VN maker, that even a newbie like me or your hamster's grandma can master in like... 15 minutes or so. Love it, and wish success to the creator. I'll do my best to make a cool retro VN with this. May be 2 or more :)
