Project X: Light Years

Excellent game! My friend and I haven't played something like this in a long time, probably since the days of CounterAttack, Stareden, Black Paradox. Wonderful upgrade system. The game developer is great – constantly updating the game and fixing issues. In short: a must-have!

Personally I think this is the best side scroller Shoot em up ever made. It's intense, has incredible banging music (turn your volume up and get immersed) and whilst it can be hard, it is quite fair and has you reaching for another go rather than bouncing off.

Awesome homage to one of my favourite Amiga games ever. Thank you for making this, and doing such a cracking job. First impressions right now but this is one of those tributes that makes you feel exactly like you are playing the original as you remembered it, when actually the old version would be aged by comparison. The visuals, loading screen, music, everything is making me so happy. And as a game in it's own right first impressions are fantastic. Complex and hectic enough to give adrenaline, but measured enough to feel playable by my much older brain. Clearly a passion project!
