Petal Crash

A great arcade puzzle game with both single player and multiplayer modes, unlike most other puzzle fighters, the game is pretty readable even as a new player which makes it fairly easy to get into. The online mode has lots of custom settings and handicap options to even things out or make them really crazy. The puzzle mode also has plenty of stuff, with difficulty from "effectively a tutorial" to that one puzzle I still have to clear.

I've been playing this game on occasion since 2021 and...I'm still kinda bad at it? The mechanical depth of Petal Crash can NOT be understated. The central mechanic is easy to learn, until you find out it's hard to learn, and I'm not sure anyone can "master" it since there's so much to learn about it. But one thing it IS is very, very fun. To me, it's rare and special to have a game I played a long time ago stand out enough to revisit. But Petal Crash proves it's worth my time over and over again. Excited for the sequel!

Puzzle gaming is right here. Hop on one of the most intense competitive games in 2026. Story mode is good for chill (and intense) play too, that's what I do. I have more play-time on Switch. it's hard but satisfying to get better, great music and graphics, cool looking sequel in progress
