OMUSUBI

Я люблю Токигами, на этом у меня всё А так, игра с очень милой и современной графикой, сделанной на RPG Maker нового поколения Музыковое сопровождение, японская мифология и сама история героев супер классные и вайбовые, жаль русского языка только нет :(

A BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE. Quite frankly, the fact I didn't learn about this game sooner and had to learn through an hour of digging for something interesting to play is a pure tragedy and a disservice to the beauty this game holds. First and foremost: The characters. The protagonist? She's a cutie pie. More than that, she's canonically chubby, and the game never at any point makes it a joke or something to mock aside from one time she tries to discourage herself... only for the other person involved to comment that she's beautiful. Because of the fact she's chubby, the game never actually allows you to sprint unless the scene requires it, which is such a little thing, but something I thought was really adorable and made the experience all the more realistic. The second main character, Issa, is so charming and every interesting with him leaves you wanting more. You become so attached to him. These two are such an endearing duo that you just want to see them succeed and be happy. Second: The music. IT GOES HARD. IT GOES INSANE-O STYLE. IT'S ABSOLUTELY PEAK. There were some moments I just sat there for five minutes bopping my head because the music was so amazing and went hardcore as heck. It's been a hot minute since I played a game with such banger music. I could sit there and listen to it forever. Third: If you love Japanese mythology or youkai like I do, this game will absolutely satisfy you. Every series or game out there has a different or unique approach to myth, and I found the way Omusubi approached it to be very interesting and fun! Fourth: There are multiple routes! I didn't realize that until I beat the game, so there's actual replayability for this game and to notice even more things to break your heart. I loved this game so much that as soon as I finished it, I went to the creator's twitter to follow them and purchase Omusubi merch off of their booth. It was an amazing experience I don't want to forget. This glazing being said, I do have one small complaint that I noticed other players mentioning: Sometimes, the game would freeze and I would have to start over. I could press buttons and hear text continuing during a scene, but my screen itself would remain stationary. I would have to exit the game and restart, which usually wasn't too big of a problem, but it DID kind of fizzle the anticipation of the scene a bit. I do hope it'll be patched up soon enough. very good game overall. theres a few tiny sprite bugs and a small handful grammar issues with the text but otherwise amazing.
