My Heaven's Dale

Love this game, they gave it the sprites of earthbound but gave it the simplicity of story of seasons and harvest moon but much easier. The game does not take long to beat, you can play at your own pace and it's easy to get income. You spend most of the game repairing the town and doing the main quest but its enjoyable and by no means stressful. If you want a quick and short fun farming simulator this is definitely one of the games i would suggest.

This is a great little game! It gets away from making you the farmer by making you the carpenter instead (a wonderfully refreshing change!) Without wanting to give away too many spoilers, I'll say that this game has a pretty unique story and premise that actually caught me off guard more than once! I believe the dev is still working on it, so I'm eager to see what's coming next! One note: there is no combat. For me, this was a very welcome change (I really don't like having random things try to kill me when I'm mining; it's just tedious!) but for players looking for a more action-oriented side to things, this may not be the game for you. Of course, this may change in the future. The dev has clearly put a lot of thought into refining the interface (no more scrolling to select; just interact with a rock or a tree and your character will chop or mine accordingly!) This is both good and bad; the planting system is a little clumsy because of it (No, I do NOT want to get rid of the crop! Stop asking me!) and the inventory takes some getting used to, but it's very workable. All in all, a fun game with a couple of great twists and new concepts that I've not often seen in cozy games like this one! I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys cozy games!

great game with tons of content and super cute art style. I do however have to complain about the game’s map system. it’s awful. it does not show but maybe a third of the actual locations within the game, and there are no typical features like waypoints, map marker, etc. even fast travel or something at this point would help but it’s just not there. also, there’s a typo (sanctuary is missing the *c*) but otherwise the game really has a lot of potential and is a great addition in the farming/life sim genre!
