My Girlfriend’s Special Place

Good vn 8/10 Ending was a bit weird, especially the "Love" ending, mc was weirdly cold and stupid in that ending, like what do you mean you ghosted the main heroine for a week after "dumping" her and left her crying right infront of her house so that you could work part time to buy her a gift on her birthday and expected her to miraculously come to the arcade they were at like 10 years ago. The rest of the cast were pretty good too, especially the sister and Maika, and especially the GOAT Clerk chan. Forgot to mention Banger opening and ending songs, way too high quality, like even longer and more popular yuzusoft games don't even have this high quality ending songs. The H scenes were pretty good too, not too short and not too long. I guess it's time to play the rest of the series.

There really isn't much to say about this game. It's the first game of the "Special place" trilogy where the MC encounters his childhood friend and both get really fast in a strange relationship where especially the heroine Fuyuka can't be honest with her feelings which might become really infuriating for many players. The art is okay, there are plenty of h scenes if you install the free patch from denpasoft, the story isn't deep and not that long. Not my favorite game and I wouldn't read it again but I enjoyed at least my time for what it is.

This is the first VN I've ever read all the way through. I wasn't expecting much from the story, but I enjoyed the setup but there were definitely points where I was not happy about how things went and the decisions of the MC. My purpose of picking this up was strictly to start reading better in Japanese, and it was wonderful for that purpose. I will probably pick up the other two in the series to continue my progress on getting better at Japanese. Would I recommend this game for your native language consumption? Maybe. Would I recommend it for learning Japanese? Yes.
