MultiEnding Heroes

100%'d it. It's fine enough, though it feels like there could have been more secret endings than the... just the one, actually. It's lacking the earnest heart of Bad End Theater and doesn't quite reach the level of ingenuity of Reventure, which I'd recommend first... but even if ending collection games like it weren't so rare, this would still be a very close third. Just not quite at the pinnacle.

"Multiending Heroes" mixes light RPG combat with choose-your-own-adventure questing and meta progression, giving you fun scenarios you can play straight or creatively to get different endings; the meta-progression adds in tools that open new avenues or make you stronger. It's fun; I like to play it in half hour bouts. It helps that it's funny. This is an overlooked gem and should have gotten more attention. Also a good case for Steam Next Fest; I discovered it there. EDIT: I'm more or less done; I got most endings on my own, but had to look up a handful. (Did I overlook a clue on pacifying the platypus?) Rare game that meets very three specific periods of my life, referencing Curse of Monkey Island, Dark Souls, *and* Metal Gear Solid; it's so hyper-niche I'd be suspicious the dev were my own brother. Great game.

Wow, what a beautiful game. Such a refreshing game to play and to remember why I love games. Thanks a lot to the creator to share his sense of humor and to put all the effort to make this happen.
