Very fun little game, easy to complete overall (about 5 hours for all 3-stars) Will be looking out for their sequel coming up. It's a cheap game and very enjoyable, would recommend.
Monster Meals is a cooperative cooking and time-management game developed by Giant Warrior Studio and published by GoGo Games Interactive. Instead of placing players in an ordinary restaurant, it embraces a delightfully strange premise where a team of monster chefs runs a traveling food truck that serves bizarre dishes to an equally unusual clientele. The colorful pixel-art presentation immediately gives the game a playful personality, while its unconventional recipes and quirky humor help distinguish it from the growing number of cooking simulators available today. The charming visuals disguise a surprisingly demanding gameplay experience that rewards quick thinking, teamwork, and careful organization. At its heart, Monster Meals revolves around preparing customer orders as quickly and accurately as possible before impatient monsters lose their patience. Every meal requires multiple steps, including collecting ingredients, preparing them, cooking them through different methods, and delivering the finished dish. What makes the game particularly entertaining is its approach to ingredient gathering. Rather than relying on stocked shelves, players must actively hunt unusual creatures such as rats, pigeons, cockroaches, and other odd critters that become essential components of the recipes. This mechanic creates a constant balance between exploring for supplies and maintaining an efficient kitchen, ensuring that every stage feels active instead of becoming repetitive. The cooking mechanics gradually become more intricate as additional recipes, appliances, and workstations are introduced. Preparing meals involves chopping, frying, baking, and other culinary processes that require players to multitask effectively while adapting to increasingly hectic situations. Levels are designed to build upon previously learned mechanics, making the progression feel natural while steadily increasing the challenge. Rather than overwhelming players from the beginning, the game introduces new responsibilities at a comfortable pace before eventually transforming each kitchen into a frantic race against time. Success depends on establishing efficient routines, dividing responsibilities, and responding quickly whenever unexpected problems arise. The game's progression system adds meaningful motivation beyond simply completing levels. Players travel across several distinct environments, each featuring its own visual style and atmosphere while introducing new obstacles to overcome. Throughout the journey, the food truck itself can be upgraded with better equipment, expanding the available cooking options and making it easier to tackle more demanding recipes. These upgrades provide a satisfying sense of development, allowing players to feel that their efforts are continuously improving both their kitchen and their overall capabilities. The structured campaign offers a healthy amount of content while maintaining enough variety to keep each location feeling fresh. Multiplayer is where Monster Meals truly reaches its full potential. Supporting both local and online cooperative play for up to four players, the game encourages communication and coordination as teammates divide responsibilities between collecting ingredients, preparing meals, operating kitchen stations, and serving customers. The resulting chaos creates countless entertaining moments, especially when unexpected mistakes force everyone to improvise under pressure. Solo players can still enjoy the experience, but managing every responsibility alone naturally presents a much steeper challenge. Survival Mode further extends the game's replayability by introducing endless waves of increasingly difficult orders while encouraging players to continue upgrading their mobile kitchen in order to survive longer. Visually, the game strikes an appealing balance between adorable and grotesque. The expressive monster chefs, colorful environments, exaggerated food creations, and humorous animations keep…
