Great game actually. For a music producer like myself this is fun. But there are some elements that can make it really better. Like a fun gamified DAW basically. Want to see where this goes.

I bought the game right on the third anniversary of its release without even noticing. The game has given me one of the most positive first impressions I've had in a long time, I found myself falling in love with it immediately and the more I explored the more I was blown away by just how powerful this thing is as a music-making tool. It's still in Early Access and it already feels almost like a playful DAW more than a game. From simple loops all the way up to full-length songs, you have some deceptively powerful tools here and the end results genuinely sound really good! I've seen Carol of the Bells in a little town where the notes were strung up like Christmas lights, I've seen Wet Hands arranged in the shape of a Creeper head, and even the game's own example content has a song that plays out across a ship that gets built up layer by layer as the song continues. Not just great tools for making music, but some really fun toys for presenting it as well! I'm amazed that this is built by mostly just one guy. It really shows that he cares for what he's making here, and I really have nothing to criticize. You can even use the music you make in the game commercially! So long as you use the royalty-free samples anyway, which are labeled and still sound really good. This game is awesome and it deserves a lot more attention. It looks good, it sounds good, and it plays smoothly.

If you really into music i highly recommend. The developer has done an excellent job with the tutorials and it even teaches you how to produce and make music at the same time. The visuals are fantastic. So far lots of EDM and hip hop sounds to use. With time i cant wait to see the developer add plug ins etc.
