Cant' recommend this game with the amount of bugs I've gone through. IE smelter not working, cooling buckets turning iron balls back into ingots, ext.
Keep Keepers, developed and published by Thunderrock Innovations, takes a familiar collection of genres and combines them into a fast-paced cooperative experience that thrives on teamwork and adaptability. At its core, the game is a roguelite tower defense title where players are entrusted with protecting a magical keep from increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. However, the game goes beyond simply placing defenses and waiting for attacks to unfold. It introduces resource gathering, base expansion, and automation systems that constantly demand the player's attention, creating a gameplay loop that feels energetic from beginning to end. The title's biggest selling point is its emphasis on cooperative play. Whether playing locally or online, players are encouraged to divide tasks and communicate efficiently. One person may focus on harvesting resources while another upgrades defensive structures or repairs damaged sections of the keep. As enemy assaults intensify, these responsibilities become more demanding, forcing teams to make quick decisions under pressure. This constant need for coordination gives Keep Keepers an almost party-game atmosphere despite its strategic foundation. Victories feel earned because they are often the result of effective planning and split-second problem-solving. Progression is another area where the game performs well. Each run provides opportunities to unlock new improvements and refine strategies, giving players a reason to return after every defeat. The roguelite framework ensures that failure is part of the experience rather than a punishment. Players gradually discover more efficient ways to build their fortress, optimize their economy, and automate repetitive tasks. Watching a modest settlement evolve into a heavily fortified stronghold is one of the game's most satisfying aspects, and the sense of advancement remains rewarding throughout multiple sessions. From a presentation standpoint, Keep Keepers opts for a charming and accessible visual style. Its colorful environments and readable interface make it easy to keep track of the action, even when the screen becomes crowded with enemies and effects. Character and creature designs fit comfortably within the fantasy setting, while the soundtrack and sound effects do a good job of reinforcing the urgency of battle. Although the game does not aim for graphical realism, its artistic direction complements the gameplay and ensures that clarity is never sacrificed for spectacle. There are, however, a few limitations worth mentioning. Players seeking a purely single-player experience may find that some of the excitement diminishes without companions sharing the workload. Additionally, while the roguelite systems add replay value, the overall gameplay loop can become somewhat repetitive during extended play sessions. Certain strategies eventually emerge as more reliable than others, which may reduce experimentation for veteran players. Fortunately, the game's cooperative focus and procedural elements do enough to keep most sessions feeling fresh. Keep Keepers succeeds because it understands the appeal of cooperative chaos. By combining tower defense mechanics with roguelite progression, resource management, and automation, Thunderrock Innovations has created a title that is easy to pick up yet challenging to master. It may not revolutionize the genre, but it delivers a polished and entertaining experience that rewards teamwork and strategic thinking. For players looking for a multiplayer game that balances accessibility with depth, Keep Keepers is a worthwhile addition to their library. Rating: 8/10
Cool game. Similar to Plate Up while still being different. I do wish there was a way to modify the base without the need to use your character to move stuff around since in the late game things will be cluttered. Plate up had the same issue in the beginning. Either way it's a fun game and I'm really enjoying it so far
