Hydra Heli 2

SIMPLY LOVE THIS GAME!!!! [edit.. because I loved this game so much but started with #2 in the series, I immediately bought #1 just now after completion! :) ] Its been a while since i've been impressed by a steam game!! I dont have much time to play in one sitting, so games like this are my go-to. I've actually never played anything until completion in a very long time, I usually get bored in the 30 minutes to maybe 2 hours. I think i left it running in background so probably not 42 hours, but maybe more like 6 or 7 just because i wanted 3 stars on everything. For me, I would probably pay up to $10 for this one, its very polished, the upgrades are meaningful and when stuck on any achievement, usually you can simply grind a few levels and pick whatever skill you were weak on or lacking. And then proceed. I never felt once like I was stuck or wasting a ton of grinding time at any point. of the maybe 400 or 500 steam games I have currently, this is probably on my top 5 of all time, being honest. I definitely reccomend this game! probably not needed, but a hint for last level is to max that top left branch or its probably simply impossible lol! Thanks DEVS!

A really sweet sequal to an already captivating game. Despite me liking the animated water of the first game, I really enjoy the art style of this one. How the helicopter and it's rockets stand out of the water and the enemies colour palets'. Gameplay wise there are a ton of upgrades in a sweet upgrade tree - not strictly grid based like the original rather branching and extensive. I also love how there is more variety to the enviroment, not just looks wise but mayne include something unique like an active rail line on the 3rd level. The 2 different game modes with thier unique upgrades are sweet. It's just slightly sad that they have thier helicopter skins tied to them - I hoped after promotion I could swap them around but oh well. My one gripe with it is: unlike the first game where you could get back time by simply killing enemy boats: this time you need to get oil drops. It's fine on its own but as you grow strong enough to kill enemies where they are barely on screen: thier oil drops will drop off screen and you won't be able to collect them. I get that in the first game you could have 5-6 minute long sorties (deployments) by being too good but here it feels like getting stronger is an active handicap to your mission time. Which hurts especially since the longer you go the higher the shard value goes - which you use for upgrades. All in all I would recommend this game if you look for a great arcady shooter!

Addictive fun game. great music. looks like its only gonna get better, especially since it seems easy to add new interesting content
