Did i enjoy this game? yes a good deal, is it particularly good? No not really, if you like puzzle games and exploration you will prob like this but it is frankly very unpolished and messy, both the puzzles and structures vary in quality a lot and out of the 9 ending i have gotten, only 2 are decent and the rest are either underwhelming or middling and the last one that i havent gotten is extremly likely just bugged, the game is still getting updated thankfully so i hope this will mostly change at some point playtime is around 30-40 hours for all endings and more for full completionist

It's really good. Is it as good as Outer Wilds? No, but it's very damn close for a game made by one guy. I would say the main difference is that while both are games where you learn about the world to solve puzzles, Outer Wilds had you do specific actions in the world to solve puzzles with hints from various text sources, but this game is text on both ends. You consume text to learn, analyze it, and more often than not input your answer into a terminal. It's still very satisfying, don't get me wrong, but it does skew the kind of puzzles possible. I hope you enjoy cryptography. My only other thing, possibly my only real complaint: the boat is cool, but you spend a LOT of time just commuting. And if you want to go somewhere but the wind is against you: tough. I am 30 hours deep and I am sure 10 of them are just idle boat time. A less real complaint: a lot of this game assumes you have a good understanding of English. If you do not, you're out of luck for now.

This world has been built with a lot of thought behind it - while playing it, the curious ones uncover some unexpected truths through hidden lore pieces, environmental storytelling, or just by looking at the movement of the stars. It gets a little bit held back by graphical issues, controls and audio glitches, but you get used to it and it doesn't really bother me too much. There are multiple achievable endings that become clear while progressing further and piecing the history of the world together. As of writing this review I'm on the last stretch to get the remaining two endings, but it's becoming really tough at this point, so progress has been slow. But it's also easy to get side tracked to test a theory and suddenly discover whole new stuff you didn't notice for the first 50 hours. Recommended for anybody who is driven by curiosity and the joy of discovery.
