I really wanted to give this game a thumbs up, but honestly, I can’t. It feels very unfinished, weak in a lot of areas, and full of bugs that make progression either frustrating or straight up impossible at times. There are trees everywhere, yet you have to spend two in-game days running around a stone biome looking for granite just to make an axe. Regular stone does not work. If you don’t find it, you’ll be cooking food on random sticks that occasionally fall from trees — and sometimes there are none nearby at all. Can you break branches off trees by hand? Of course not. That would ruin the “realistic survival” experience 🤡 Want to build something better than a shelter made of leaves? Get ready for a lovely adventure trying to find oak saplings, because they’re used in basically every structure. After wandering around the map for ages, I finally found a tiny biome with three oak trees in it. Maybe there are more somewhere, but that’s all I managed to find. And the map itself is incredibly repetitive and boring. Locations all look the same and nothing really stands out or feels memorable. The final straw for me was during a flood event, when dirt suddenly stopped turning into mud, which completely blocked my building progress. The game literally tells you dirt becomes mud when soaked in river water. But when the flood raises the water level, apparently that’s some different magical water because the mechanic just stops working. I could forgive this in Early Access, but not in a full release version. Overall, the game suffers from the same problem a lot of “hardcore survival” games do: in an attempt to make survival feel realistic, the developer ends up making players die because they can’t find some very specific twig or rock. If this was Early Access, I probably would’ve left a positive review. But I bought it specifically because it was advertised as a full release, and right now I honestly feel a bit misled. Hopefully I’ll get a reason to change this review later.

Неплохо. С первой попытки зиму не смог пережить, но чем больше узнаешь игру, тем интереснее становится играть. Багов практически не обнаружено.
