While I do have some points I'd like to make, this game blew my mind, especially with its visuals, audio, and how it concludes the . I am really looking forward to finding other games that match the aesthetics of , and I highly recommend playing this if you have played/watched the rest of the game series (note: this includes MOTHERED and Prologue as well!) First thing to note, though, is the difficulty, which by itself is not that much of an issue if you want to have a challenge, but it can still make it really hard to without a guide, at least for me, although I assume that it's been much more balanced now in the state that I've played it in, than it was at launch, considering the update logs and earlier reviews. The second thing to note is that it's not entirely free of bugs. Most bugs are minor and fit nicely into the aesthetics of the game, but one bug related to the timer has frequently impacted my gameplay. Overall though, I absolutely loved this game, and I'm glad I've gotten to play it! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did :)

If isn't enough to make you question anything, then I don't know what will. is the fantastic conclusion to a story that made me feel emotions I rarely like to acknowledge and also made me think about a lot of scenarios for what the next couple of years and decades of technological progress might confront us with. The TRILOGY is a journey, and one I fully recommend to anyone interested in games with a good story that just provoke a thought, maybe explore a topic you've never really given much about or shine a light on an angle you've never really thought of. Despite some tedious segments and a lot of trial and error in some cases, the TRILOGY made me feel this sort of existential dread I haven't felt since I first played Frictional Games' Soma, paired with a feeling of nostalgia that I don't have the words to describe, but I am eternally grateful for being able to experience it. There's this really cool article/analysis by Ian Bryce Jones on the Enigma Trilogy which I can only recommend since it goes a little more into detail about some meta aspects especially of the game's prequel MOTHERED that I didn't really pay attention to but now that I've read it, I can't ever unthink it. Personally, I'm convinced that the core theme of the story will play an even bigger role in the years to come and I'm glad these games exist. All in all, thank you ENIGMA STUDIO, thank you for this experience, the story, the soundtrack and everything that came with it.

If you hate the game, just cheat. It's OK. I enjoyed this game much more after I started cheating. I understand that the frustration and repetition is all part of the storytelling, making the player struggle the way the characters in the game are. But in real life, I don't have time to do all that. I'm an adult. So I used the cheat LSHIFT + RSHIFT + SPACE, which was kindly built into the game without penalty to the player. This made it much easier for me to appreciate ECHOSTASIS. The storytelling is great. The atmosphere is fantastic. The way it relates to MOTHERED (and HOME) and The Enigma Machine is satisfying too. I recommend playing all of them.
