Culdcept The First

はっきり言って割高である。 でも体験版をやって、面白かったのと懐かしかったので買ってしまった。 定価購入はすすめないが、とりあえず体験版は是非やってみてほしい。

マジでお願いします！！ 絶対に購入するのでセカンドエキスパンションも復刻してほしい！！ 俺はストームコーザーが使いたいんや。。。

Honestly its just barely ok. People say this is the port of the dreamcast version but man, it looks and feels like the Ps2 version but...not as good as I remember. For the first two to 4 hours I had nice little flash back of all the fun times with friends and the wild combos we pulled off against each other but after that, the happiness I had wore thin. It doesn't even play like a slightly better version. I've always been a Culdcept fan because my friends and I played the Ps2 version with about over 1100 hours collectively on two deferent copies shared among the 6 of us. We then had about 800 hours on the Xbox Culdcept while sharing 1 copy among 4 friends who were left, and each of us bought a copy of the NDS Culdcept easily having over 300 hours each on our own copies. I honestly didn't expect too much from a old school port and this is pretty much way more lackluster than I had hoped. The interface is pretty bad and I expected at least a speed up option but they instead put extra ways to redo your turn aka cheat. Now IDC what people do in their own games, in fact they have a right to do whatever but no speed up mode for such a style of game is just sad. I've never experinced a single bug like others are saying, but I just wish for better QOL upgrades at least, nothing special. I loved the graphics then, and I love the graphics now but I can't recommend it at 30$, so wait till a sale before buying because the game isn't going anywhere and it will only deprecate with time, while the fandom will stay (as rare as they already are). I'm also still disappointed that Nintendo was able to lock down the actual new game a whole half year exclusively for the switch and switch 2 instead of it releasing for PC at the same time, but I guess that was to allow this version time to flounder for sales for a bit. I'd honestly get a refund if I was still eligible for one. Not a bad game but DO NOT pay full price for this, please wait till its at least 50% off and as soon as the new Culdcept is out, it will definitely go on sale if City Connection is smart. Remember its NOT worth more than 15$, not even a dollar more.
