Cricket 26 - The Official Game of the Ashes

Even with bugs, this game is highly playable and very enjoyable. I came from Cricket 19 to this and indeed both are equally great. This game has more simulation like gameplay and great cutscenes that add to realism. One thing I like about bigant is that they give great focus on Single Player offline features. Tour mode, customization of teams, players, stadiums and even umpires, competition mode, licensed leagues, community from which I downloaded 2007 year teams and reliving my childhood.. I can definitely recommend this game.

Commentary inaccurate to the point it gets annoying, game randomly freezes when you need to catch a ball at silly leg or similar resulting in a dropped catch. Shot "hints/reviews" inaccurate saying you should have played/did play a shot legside when u played a shot towards the offside that was basically on offside wide line. And then to top it all of the game randomly crashes

Overpriced Game For a game that costs ₹4,399, it sure has carried over a frustrating number of bugs from previous iterations. I have reported multiple times in previous games that when the ball ricochets off the stumps, the user is unable to take runs, while the AI can still run. This was something we could do in DBC 14, but it has apparently never been properly addressed. The wicketkeeper and close-in fielders continue to drop simple catches while somehow pulling off superhuman catches at other times. Sometimes, the outfielders also react late to the ball. The developers fix one bug and somehow introduce two more. This has been happening since the DBC days. I'm glad there isn't an exorbitant number of boot-pad catches this time around. The new bowling actions are also a welcome addition. Overall, I would rate the game 6/10, but at ₹4,399, I expected a much more polished experience.
