Хороший саундтрек, приятный визуальный стиль, юмор, адекватная цена, некоторые баги с открытием вкладки "Save" (иногда открывает еще одну при закрытии первой).
Zombie Police: Christmas Dancing with Police Zombies is an unusual detective adventure that takes the traditional visual novel mystery formula and injects it with supernatural comedy. Developed and published by ALTERCIWS and Lobstudio, the game immediately distinguishes itself through the unlikely partnership at the center of its story. Instead of presenting zombies as monsters to escape or destroy, it places one on the side of law enforcement. This simple reversal gives the game a distinctive identity and allows it to combine crime investigation, character comedy, supernatural elements, and deduction without feeling like another conventional zombie story. The narrative follows rookie detective Yasu Tamura and his extraordinary partner, Akemi Kabane. Yasu serves as the more conventional half of the investigative team, while Akemi happens to be a zombie detective. Their contrasting personalities and circumstances are essential to the game's appeal. Yasu's relative inexperience gives the player a natural perspective from which to approach each investigation, whereas Akemi brings considerably more eccentric energy to their cases. Her undead nature is more than a cosmetic gimmick, as the concept influences the situations the detectives encounter and contributes to the humor surrounding their partnership. The game embraces the absurdity of this setup instead of trying to turn it into traditional horror. Despite zombies being central to its identity, the atmosphere is considerably more playful than frightening. The colorful presentation and anime-influenced character artwork reinforce this direction. Akemi is designed to be memorable and expressive rather than grotesque, and the contrast between her appearance, personality, and undead condition becomes part of the comedy. Players looking for violent zombie survival gameplay will therefore find something completely different here. The zombie concept exists primarily to enrich the characters and mysteries rather than provide enemies for combat. Investigation forms the backbone of the gameplay. Yasu and Akemi interview individuals connected to their cases, collect testimony, and gradually uncover information that may explain what happened. Conversations matter because seemingly ordinary statements can provide details necessary for understanding the larger mystery. Relevant information is recorded through the TIPS system, giving players a convenient way to review discoveries instead of relying entirely on memory. This feature is especially appropriate for a detective game because it encourages players to compare clues, reconsider previous statements, and identify connections between pieces of information. The TIPS system also helps prevent the substantial amount of dialogue from becoming meaningless exposition. Reading is naturally a major component of the experience, but the information acquired during conversations feeds directly into the investigative process. Paying attention can make deductions easier, while overlooking the significance of particular details can lead players toward questionable conclusions. The result is a visual novel in which following the dialogue closely serves an important mechanical purpose rather than simply advancing the narrative. A particularly interesting feature is the freedom to begin the deduction phase without necessarily investigating every possible lead first. Many mystery games force players through an exact sequence of conversations and evidence collection before permitting them to identify the culprit or explain the crime. Zombie Police takes a somewhat more flexible approach. Players who believe they have already understood the mystery can attempt to reach a conclusion earlier, while those who prefer greater certainty can continue investigating and gathering additional information. This creates a pleasant sense of agency because deciding whether enough evidence has been obtained becomes part of the detective experience. A confident pla…
Such a straightforward and clean game with a nice story. However, an achievement did not activate as stated in the guide. I suspect that this can be related to the shortcoming of Tyranobuilder's integration with Steam achievements. Maybe will be fixed in the future ://
