Apart from seeing the visuals on the steam page I went in completely blind (I had gotten the game a while ago and decided to finally play it) and it was so much better than I expected! Great characters with a weird but intriguing plot line and game mechanics that I haven't seen anywhere else. The suspense while walking through the castle knowing you could get attacked by monsters was done really well and there was never a point where I have felt stuck figuring out where to go next. It was also really nice to have an auto save feature that saved very frequently, making it so you never had to backtrack after failing an encounter. The story takes about two and a half hours to three hours to complete, depending on how easily you handle the exorcism encounters. Overall I would definitely recommend this game if you are into surreal games with some scary elements.

This is a truly special game, it has a lovely and interesting lore, the visuals have a unique charm to them, the combat is fun and unpredictable, the entire experience is very fun, is not very long but there is not a dull moment in it. I'll admit the first part of the game was my favorite since it transitions from a very cool Point and Click adventure with puzzles into a more traditional RPGmaker horror game towards the end; It's really hard to sing it more praises without spoiling the hell out of it so I'll just say, it's cheap, it's fun, go play it!

Pretty creepy and atmospheric in parts. It has lots of innovative one-shot moments that are pretty funny and creative. It’s unfortunately a bit slow and janky due to its engine. I don’t mind the low res grunge of it all but some of the walking sections, unstoppable cutscenes and padded out final act made it a bit of a chore to finish.
