UnReal World

As much of a chance i did give this game, it is very hard to recommend. At this point, being a holder of two world records both in dev support and being a first open world survival game, UnReal World has little to nothing to show for it. The controls are god awful. In this game your character is controlled like a tank, so you need to steer the guy. Sure, you can straife, but you still need to manually turn to look around and that still takes time. The gameplay goes pretty much the same every time. You Fish for literal ingame months just to stay alive, crawling to your shelter to sleep in between fishing and cooking more fish to eat. Hell, maybe you get so lucky you get enough fish to trade them for something like.... Better fishing gear!!! Hunting is honestly insufferable. Unless you trap or spend an entire month building some hunting structire, the hunting is literal torture in this game. Skills don't make any sense at all, anything bellow 50% is straight up unuseable. While being "Proficient" with a bow, i literally didn't hit anything a single time, even with a decent longbow and decent arrows. But that's just my frustrations, that is not the main problem. The main problem is that the game pretty much ends the second you obtain any decent hide, meaning 1 elk will exhaust all content this game has to offer, you will simply be able to make a full set of clothing, or at least everything you need to survive the wihter and then sell what's left for a decent axe to build yourself a cottage. That's it. Now you can, i dunno, fish and sleep in a cottage instead of a shelter. Quests are weird. Some are mindnumingly easy and are pretty much free goods for you, others are straight up torture like finding a lost pig 10km away from some settlement. So yeah, it's engeging untill you get some decent fur. Then it's pretty much over.
