ULTRA0

Ну это был интересный опыт. ULTRA0 это довольно коротенький shmup, который уникален тем, что он полностью про сюжет. А сюжет полностью про эмоции (в основном любовь между девочками). Мне в целом понравилось. Геймплей простенький и только 1 уровень по моим ощущениям был раза в 3 дольше, чем он должен быть (да, его суть была в том, что бы показать как долго героиня сражается, но разнообразия врагов уж слишком мало в игре для этого). Вот дизайны и музыка мне очень понравились. Диалоги тоже в принципе интересные. Вся игра проходится за часа 3-4. Что для такой цены в принципе норм. Опять же, эта игра берёт тем, что она необычная. Хотя раскрытия мира и хотелось бы больше. Прям львиная доля сюжета к "ну такая технология просто есть, вот это просто существует". Но в целом, тут больше на эмоции и юри давят, что тоже не плохо. Визуал и звуковое сопровождение это прям конфетка по моему мнению. На стимдеке идёт и выглядит великолепно. Буду теперь следить за работами этой студии. Всё же тут явно прям персональный проект, без попытки повторить что-то успешное, а это сейчас редкость.

i'll preface this by saying: go in blind. i did not know what i was getting into. why is nobody playing this? this is my GOTY and the best piece of entertainment i've experienced in a long time. couldn't put it down. it's a well done rail shooter, albeit fairly easy - which works as the story is often being told during gameplay, nuances you don't want to miss. it's simple: autolock and autofire, then focus on dodging. not difficult (you also upgrade from gems you collect which helps you breeze thru it), but still satisfying and engaging. i'd still recommend if it was just the shmup part... what i did -not- expect was how good of a VN this is. it's probably 40/60 shooter/VN and it hits on every note, pitch perfect. the art, wit, humor, horror, all blended into something genuinely special and very much its own. this game does not overstay its welcome either, with great pacing and no filler. i felt old emotions coming back to me, from my youth when anime like Elfen Lied were new. didn't foresee how emotionally invested i'd be, especially on the level of the aformentioned era of anime. i have trouble finishing most things these days but ULTRA0 hooked me. if you want to laugh, cry, FEEL things like happiness, sadness, and hope then i can't recommend this one enough. more than worth the price, sale or not. nothing but the highest praise here, truly something fresh. i pray more people buy this because it's sitting at 91 reviews which is a datgum shame.

started & finished this in 1 day & it might be one of my favorite games now. while the gameplay itself is nothing groundbreaking, it's still really fun & easy to get into, even for casuals. the story is the real star here, it's well-written & i found it impactful enough to tell all my friends about it & leave review, which isn't something i really do. u can beat it in a few hours & the price is well-worth it. i highly highly recommend this one if ur a fan of yuri-tinged stories where everyone is suffering in some capacity
