Истинная головоломка. Мозгу придётся попотеть. Есть несколько скрытых вариантов прохождения игры, минуя основной сюжет. Но догадаешься ли как к ним прийти?
A very clever game with a fatal flaw of being overly, needlessly picky about how you interact with its puzzles. The game is a line or path drawing puzzle with a few familiar twists about how nodes need to be connected, i.e., things that just need to be connected to the same color/symbol, things that need to be connected in a loop (no forks), things that need to be connected in parallel, etc., plus a few of their own clever twists. Without spoilers, one of the main twists is that many of the puzzles, most notably the "boss" puzzles, evolve as you solve them: connect the nodes and new areas open up or new nodes appear, forcing a rework. When this happens, part of the challenge is in needing to avoid disconnecting nodes lest the puzzle revert to its earlier form. And this would not be a problem in and of itself, but for the game also being extremely obtuse about the ability to revert changes while simultaneously allowing the player to blindly "softlock" the puzzle (i.e., make a move before more of the puzzle appears that prevents later portions of the puzzle from being solvable). This will take some explaining. In boss fights, there is no going back: rather than a broken connection reverting the puzzle to an earlier form, the game simply disallows the move (and, if boss timers are on, applies a time penalty). Except, there are often cases where clearing a tile using Erase will be rejected but clearing the same tile using Undo will not. This unnecessary pickiness extends to the behavior of certain nodes, notably "loop" nodes that are described as not liking forks or splits, but really don't like unfinished ends even if you're in the process of drawing it. This means that an identical connection or erasure will be valid drawn in one direction and invalid in the other. A little of this in a puzzle game may be grating but tolerable, but in this game it simply gets to be too much (along with some of the rules about what needs to be powered and when being just as obtuse). Which is a shame as I was quite happy with the puzzles overall and didn't find the game having too little in it for the amount I paid. Thus, a recommend if you are down with puzzle games getting pedantic (so to speak) or can get it cheap, otherwise it may get on your nerves faster than you'd like.
classic idea with some fun twists and a story to follow. there are some timed levels, but nothing I couldn't tackle so far nice coffee-break game!
