Touch of Madness

This was not what I expected it to be. The message was surprisingly deep and portrayed pretty well. The game is well made, the fighting was fun (sometimes stressful), and the story was interesting. After playing the demo months before, I thought it would be more horror/action oriented, but it's still enjoyable as a more story focused game. A delightful short horror game. Very impressive for being the developer's first game! The visuals are very striking (although, if you're bad with directions like I am, you might get a bit lost in the few looping hallway sections because they all look quite similar with the color-scheme ^^;) The battles are a lot of fun once you get used to them, too, and the bosses have very creative attack patterns. The story itself was also quite interesting. I definitely recommend Touch of Madness if you enjoy retro-style survival horror games!
