sugar sugar (all) and must pop words or whatever its called are the bane of my existence spent 28 hours getting all achievements (pc reset half my progress but oh well it is what it is) 10/10
The Bart Bonte collection is a carefully curated anthology that preserves the creative legacy of one of the most recognizable independent puzzle developers from the Flash gaming era. Developed and published by Bart Bonte, the collection brings together 28 remastered games that once thrived in web browsers, now rebuilt for modern systems with Steam integration and achievement support. Rather than simply bundling old releases together, the compilation presents them in a polished package that allows players to revisit these classics without compatibility issues while introducing a new audience to Bonte's distinctive approach to puzzle design. The greatest appeal of the collection lies in its incredible diversity. Although every game reflects Bart Bonte's minimalist philosophy, each introduces a fresh concept that keeps the experience engaging throughout. Popular series such as Factory Balls challenge players to transform plain objects into increasingly elaborate designs by experimenting with different tools in the correct sequence. The Sugar, Sugar games revolve around manipulating streams of sugar by drawing paths that guide each grain into waiting cups, combining physics-based mechanics with thoughtful planning. Other titles, including 40xEscape, A Bonte Escape, Me and the Key, Furiosity, Cat in Japan, Yellow, Doggnation, Duck, Where is Cat?, and What's Inside the Box?, showcase a wide range of puzzle styles that encourage experimentation, observation, and unconventional thinking instead of relying on repetitive mechanics. One of Bart Bonte's defining strengths is his confidence in allowing players to solve problems independently. The games rarely overwhelm players with lengthy tutorials or excessive explanations, instead encouraging them to discover the rules through trial, error, and careful observation. Every successful solution feels earned because progress depends on understanding the environment rather than following obvious instructions. Many puzzles require players to reconsider their assumptions, rewarding curiosity and lateral thinking with satisfying moments of realization that remain memorable long after completing each challenge. Visually, the collection embraces a timeless minimalist style that has aged remarkably well. Clean geometric artwork, vibrant colors, subtle animations, and uncluttered interfaces create an experience that remains attractive despite the games originally being developed during the Flash era. The remastering process preserves the charm of the originals while ensuring smooth performance and compatibility on contemporary hardware. Instead of relying on graphical complexity, the presentation keeps players focused on solving puzzles, proving that strong artistic direction often outlasts technological trends. Another highlight is how the anthology documents the evolution of Bart Bonte's game design over many years. Earlier projects introduce straightforward puzzle mechanics that are easy to understand, while later releases demonstrate greater confidence through increasingly inventive ideas and more layered interactions. Playing the games in succession reveals recurring concepts that evolve and become more refined, giving players an appreciation for the developer's continuous experimentation and creativity throughout his career. Steam features further enhance the overall package by adding achievements that encourage players to revisit individual games and pursue complete mastery. The organized launcher allows every title to be accessed quickly without the inconvenience of searching through old browser archives, making the collection feel cohesive despite containing dozens of separate experiences. It successfully preserves an important piece of gaming history while offering modern conveniences that improve accessibility. The compilation is not without minor shortcomings. Since these games originate from different stages of the developer's career, some are considerably shorter than others,…
