At first, I was hesitant to play it, afraid I would not understand it because I had never heard of it, but once I tried it, it actually turned out this guessing game is fun to play. The gameplay of the game is that the host in the game, called Eve, will give you a short and strange story as the soup with an unexpected ending. Then your job here as a player is to ask Eve some yes or no questions to dig out the details and truth behind the story, while Eve can only answer you with Yes, No, or Irrelevant. You can only win by correctly reconstructing the original story by choosing from the provided answers, and you will get a four leaf clover. You can use a hint if you end up stuck on the puzzle. You can also switch between day and night, where you can meet two different versions of Eve. There are a total of 4 chapters, with each chapter consisting of a collection of 8 short stories. Besides playing with Eve, there is a Steam Workshop where you can play other players’ soup stories. You can also create your own soup story and publish it so everyone else can play it too. This game features stunning character sprites for both versions of the game host Eve in an anime style. I like the stunning, detailed hair and clothing coloring on Eve and a lovely Chinese voice over that brings her truly to life. I also adore the cute chibi style of the CGs. The English translation is easy to read. Overall, The Angel's Devil Tail - One More Question 2 is highly recommended for fans of storytelling and puzzle deduction.
