With many of these games available on STEAM. "Sword and Fairy" was released in 1995 as an MS-DOS and re-released for Windows 95 in 1995 and Sega Saturn in 1999. There has been talk of a modern remake and for the most part, there has been interest worldwide because RPG game fans want to play this iconic game. But one of the problems is that Sofstar Entertainment has only released the game in simplified and traditional Chinese. Now you can! WHAT IS THIS GAME ABOUT? You play the protagonist Li Xiaoyao, a mischievous young man who's parents who were warriors with swords who went to help people in need and left him with his aunt. They run an inn and one day, a few sketchy, unruly people book the rooms to the Inn, But when your aunt gets sick, the only way to revive her is with a special medicine and to get it, you need to travel far to an island to get this medicine. But unknowing to Li Xiaoyao, this will lead him to a young woman, Zhao Ling'er and for both individuals, their meeting will change their lives forever. GRAPHICS: It's important to note that this game is 1995. In fact, when you install the file, you will notice that there are folders for DOS, Windows 95 and Windows 98. Rinse and repeat, common with RPG's of the '80s and '90s, constant level grinding for better stats and also items that prove very useful in battle. You start off with yourself but gradually have people joining you in battle. But remember, save often, know what your items do and play smart and defensively. Learn new skills and Zhao Ling-er's "Remedy" and "Sleep" are very important. As with Li Xiaoyao's "first aid". During gameplay, I suffered no bugs or crashing. It is important to save a lot.
