Stiff Neck

At first the game might seem a bit unappealing, the story is hard to get into and feels all over the place. You really won't appreciate the game if you don't go for every routes and especially if you start with a certain persons route, like I did, as it is, I believe, kind of boring and "far fetched". I don't understand how some people have the playtime of around 1 or 2 ending and like this game as you HAVE to play the whole game for it to make sense and get good. I didn't play a lot of visual novel but I think it's a great one if you give it time and I sometime find myself thinking back about it and how I can relate to some of it, helps put some perspective in life. If you're willing to spend the nearly 10-15 hours to play everything I think you should buy it, otherwise you probably won't like it.

Marvelous, just a marvelous VN. I want to gush--artistically this is a stunning work. Psychedelic and surreal, and at the same time very emotionally evocative. The font choices and characterizations are deliberate and intelligent. I think the story (and the subtlety) in the choices is excellent. If you like psychologically deft writing with a Chinese cultural perspective but a thoroughly postmodern approach to gender and identity, you will love this. Heck, even if you're not sure, you should give this game your attention, the price could not be more right. I am excited to play Team Unian's other English language offering and I wish with all my heart that Talltone's other games were translated. But I still have 45 years left on Earth; I think I'll get to play them. Highly recommended as a palate cleanser and absorbing mystery in the age of roguelikes and live action.

I only need one more ending to finish the game and i thought i should write about what i think... IMO it's one of the very well written queer vns I've seen. Visuals of it is also crazy good and I had so much fun reading through. Will, especially, felt like a character I felt understood by. As someone who was in a similar position to him (minus the. yeah.) Seeing how someone explore toxic gender roles like this brings a huge comfort to me because especially it's way more serious in eastern countries and the current media (queer media especially) doesn't reflect that well. it's just. I don't know!!! if i saw this game as a teenager it would definitely change me as a person and how i viewed gender back then. only complaint I have is that for some reason even though I left the game, it still counts as "in the game" and i had to close it manually on steam as well but its nothing compared to the positive experience i had with this game i think
