The story follows Bai Qinglan and Yin Yue, who were inseparable lovers during high school and once promised to remain together. That promise collapses after their college entrance examinations when Yin Yue suddenly disappears without giving Bai Qinglan a meaningful explanation. Six years pass, but Bai Qinglan never completely moves beyond the loss. Her life changes again when a mysterious girl unexpectedly provides information about Yin Yue's whereabouts, finally giving her an opportunity to confront the person she has spent years missing. Their eventual reunion is more complicated than a simple romantic reconciliation. Yin Yue has built another life and become a guitarist, while Bai Qinglan carries years of emotional pain caused by her disappearance. Both women are forced to reconsider what happened between them and whether the affection they once shared can survive everything that has occurred since. The mysterious girl who brings them together adds another layer to the plot because neither woman seems to know who she really is or why she is so determined to repair their relationship. This mystery provides a useful hook, but the emotional relationship remains the real centerpiece. The game explores loneliness, attachment, guilt, uncertainty, and the lingering effects of losing someone without receiving closure. Bai Qinglan is particularly dependent on Yin Yue emotionally, which makes their separation feel more devastating from her perspective. Meanwhile, Yin Yue's uncertainty about whether she deserves Bai Qinglan's love introduces a different form of internal conflict. Their personalities and emotional wounds give the romance considerably more complexity than a straightforward reunion story. With a script of roughly 150,000 Chinese characters, the game has enough room to develop its characters rather than rushing toward its major revelations. Multiple endings also give the narrative some replay value and allow the relationship to reach different conclusions. The choices are primarily there to shape the story rather than provide complicated mechanics, so players should approach this as a visual novel first. Despite its RPG classification, anyone expecting combat, exploration, equipment management, or extensive character progression will not find those elements at the center of the experience. Presentation is one of its stronger qualities. Full dialogue voice acting gives important scenes additional personality and helps communicate emotions that could otherwise be difficult to express through text and portraits alone. More than 40 CG illustrations accompany the story, while the female cast receives individual character artwork. The soft anime-inspired visual direction works particularly well with the romantic and melancholic tone, giving many scenes a dreamy appearance that contrasts effectively with the darker emotional circumstances surrounding the characters. Music contributes heavily to that atmosphere as well. The specially produced theme song Beside Empty fits the game's sorrowful tone and reinforces the feeling of longing that runs through the story. Combined with the voice acting and CG artwork, the soundtrack helps establish a consistent identity. This one was surprisingly good, very beautiful work. You do have to use a little bit of creative thinking to justify some of the character decisions, but that's not impossible if you consider the shock element. Anyway, I don't see it as a big deal. And aside from that, the story was really interesting, engaging, emotional - the best I've read in a while. The voicing was nice, and the amount of beautiful CGs was really generous. There is also an animated opening movie and a custom theme song, all are pretty lovely. There is 1 true good ending and apparently 2 short bad endings (that I haven't bothered with).

This Yuri game was one of best I have played so far, pure romance without any unnecessary characters. Story had a bit dark or sad moments, but overall it should not make anyone depressed. Had few endings short bad ending and longer happy ending. For this price it was worth, I liked all characters and story. I reccomend it for everyone who can speak chinese and understand chinese.
