Sofia in Exchange for Lies

非常に面白いゲームです。 ミステリー4・ヒューマンドラマ6くらいの割合ですが、主人公の女の子ソフィアに感情移入し最後に何を選択するのか見たくなることでしょう。

文字入力がやりずらい時があったものの、ゲームとして素晴らしく面白い 最初はシステムがわからず四苦八苦したものの、すぐに慣れる ストーリーにもすぐにのめりこむ 先が気になって続けてプレイをしてしまった 時間をまとめて取れるときにプレイをお勧めする

Relatively short VN. The visuals are fine, the story is mostly compelling and pretty interesting, and the voice acting is quite solid. Unfortunately, the game suffers a little from the core mechanic, which revolves around keywords. 95% of the time, this isn't a problem, and I was able to figure out the wording it wanted pretty easily. The other 5% are very frustrating. I think it'd benefit most people to have the walkthrough/guide/whatever open and hidden away so that you can just flip to it and grab the actual text if you get stuck and start getting frustrated. Both the major endings are pretty unsatisfying, but that's not really the point of the game, just didn't stick the landing for me. The true ending leans on anime logic which sort of deflated it for me. Younger readers or megaweebs probably won't care. The biggest issue here is the asking price. At 7-8 hours total, for a game with nice models and good voice acting but that takes place entirely in a single room, with very little replay value, the full price is far too much. Get it at half off or more if you can, have the walkthrough handy but resist the urge to open it unless you feel like you know the answer but not just how the game wants it worded. Under this conditions, I'd given this a pretty strong recommend.
